I feel like it makes me non-human to say this, but I just don't enjoy films as much as most people. I feel a much deeper connection to music. However, there are many films that I have loved in my life, and I guess those films have created memories of shared experiences with friends and family. If they haven't done that, sometimes they're just a lot of fun, especially when they allow you to get sucked into the story and escape for a little bit. At any rate, I can see how much film means to the both of you, and I think it's just fantastic.
