The Oceans franchise is a lot of fun. One of my favorite things about this film is that while promoting the film before it's 2007 release, George Clooney and the majority of the cast toted this sequel as an apology for Ocean's 12.

This film is exactly what it promises to be, fast paced, quick witted and all out fun. It is definitely a film that you need to be paying attention to from start to finish, as the story does not wait for you to catch up.

I love the look and feel of this movie and have no complaints about it what so ever. Watch this film {{{4.5 out of 5}}}

I love this film. The last in a trilogy (is it ever now though?) that is about being slick, smooth, intelligent and y'know... making crime look fun. As James said this film is really an apology for the abysmal second film . Luckily the filmmakers worked out that the all-boys outing to Vegas is the winning setting.

As with the first film, Oceans 11, this film rewards repeat viewings and I recommend watching it at least twice. There are substories of subplots which actually turn out to be substories of main plots. There are characters who you though were one thing who turn out to be another. There are twists on twists.

But the main reason for watching again is because... it is a great film with great cinematography. Soderbergh loves long shots. Go back and look out for them.

Vegas provides a great backdrop for this crime film. It successfully makes the viewer want to join in the heist and take down the corrupted casino moguls. And why is it okay to want to be a criminal like Ocean? Well because a) he is George Clooney, b) he was Frank Sinatra, c) "its not about making money... its about taking money"**

But if you love them, and you love slick dialogue and have no problem putting your faith in the director that he has everything under control then watch it. As our first review request we both entered this theatre with high expectations and I am really happy to say that I, myself at least really enjoyed this film. A unique idea told with a clever story. While it doesn't come as much of a surprise that Juno director Jason Reitman has a unique view on what many would consider the tired genre of romantic comedies. Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner’s adaptation of Walter Kim’s novel is brilliant. There is a lot of heavy stuff going on in this film, yet the film itself manages to avoid selling itself short, by not being cheaply sentimental or emotionally manipulative. I really enjoyed this film and can not think of any reason why you would not. I give it {{{{4.5 out of 5}}}}

I really enjoyed this film not only for the clever storytelling but also the slick editing that married with the plot. The sharp cuts, especially during the introduction of Clooney's character, matched really well with his charming and suave character.

Despite being early on in her career, Anna Kendrick held her own against Clooney and Farmiga. There was a good investment in her character by the writers where they could have easily pushed her right to the background. In actual fact it is her character that is the catalyst for Clooney evaluating his life. She therefore played quite an integral part and I was impressed by her honesty in the role (comedic crying aside).

For what seems at first glance to be a romantic comedy this film ends up in a different place. The main subject is about employment (as you see form the trailer Clooney's job is to fire people) and it is this that makes you consider the way you live your life and what your goals and aims really mean. But not in the crap cheesy way. In the slick Clooney way.
